Calantone, Cavusgil receive 'Article of the Year' from Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing

Roger J. Calantone, The Eli Broad University Professor of Business, and S. Tamer Cavusgil, The John William Byington Endowed Chair in Global Marketing, received the 2003 Article of the Year award from the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing. Their article, titled "Tacit Knowledge Transfer and Firm Innovation Capability," provided insights into successful export marketing by U.S. firms and formulated new research directions. The professors, who are both in the Broad School's Marketing and Supply Chain Department, shared the award with their former doctoral student, Yushan Zhao, who is now an associate professor at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
