Calantone receives prestigious TIM publication award

Eli Broad Chaired University Professor Roger Calantone was recently recognized as one of the top 50 researchers in the Technology Innovation Management field by the International Association for Management Of Technology (IAMOT).

Calantone, who is the chairperson of the Broad School’s Marketing department, received this Research Publication Award based on his academic journal publication record over the last five year in an international field that "includes thousands."

"(This award) is based on the number of article published by an author over the last five years in the top 10 academic TIM journals, including Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, Research Policy, Research Technology Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Technovation,” says Elsevier Publisher Sammye Haigh. "This field includes thousands of authors that have undergone the most rigorous scrutiny of their work, assessment by peer-evaluators in ISI-Indexed Journals."

Calantone’s research interests include product design and development processes, decision support, technology market models, and economic impact. He is also the director of the Broad School’s Center for Entrepreneurial Strategy, and he received his PhD of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
