Global Research Centers

The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University has entered into a series of strategic agreements with partner institutions to collaborate on research activities on a global scale. Within the structure of these Global Research Centers, the involved parties are working on collaborative projects and joint research programs in a selected set of research domains spanning all fields of business and many related areas. In addition, the Broad School has unique infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates and Japan that is leveraged for research purposes. This section of the Global Initiatives site describes the partners of the Broad School’s strategically located Global Research Centers.

The structure involves exchanges of research intensive faculty and highly qualified doctoral students for programmatic research purposes. These visits are intended to foster research collaboration among faculty and doctoral students at the involved universities and to allow these individuals the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and business climate of the receiving university’s environment. A number of other research-based activities also form the core of the strategically located Global Research Centers, including research speaker series, research workshops, and joint grant applications.
