Bio

I am currently an assistant professor at Michigan State University. I was born in Grand Junction, CO. My wife (Jessica) and I have five children (three girls and two boys). I graduated from Indiana University with a PhD in Accounting and a minor in Finance. Before that I was at Brigham Young University for my B.S. and MAcc degrees. I have worked as an associate economist for the Federal Reserve (in St. Lois, MO, Charlotte, NC, and Richmond, VA). I have taught Financial Statement Analysis and Interpretation, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Accounting Fundamentals, and College Mathematics.
